The relationship with this customer was long-standing having lasted for more than six years to date. The customer wanted to expand their offering in the database tools market and leverage its existing business relationships to create a new revenue stream.
Aztecsoft took this single line requirement and completely architected, designed and developed an end-to-end ETL tool that is a 100% Java based, highly robust and scalable. Future innovations and proprietary data formats have been accommodated by allowing third-party vendors to build and supply components that deal with newer or specific data sources.
In addition to the successful development of the tool Aztecsoft championed in performing the testing activities like functional, compatibility, stress and performance tests (endurance testing and resource usage profiling) on customer’s performance center product. Following impressive performance, and track record, customer engaged Aztecsoft release engineering, and sustenance groups. The release engineering group successfully released multiple versions of this product, starting with the first version. Through this, Aztecsoft became a complete product development lifecycle partner for this customer.
In addition to the core development lifecycle activities, Aztecsoft also helped the customer in contextual services such as integrating customer’s ETL modules into popular Java IDEs. Aztecsoft was also involved in adding several features to customer’s UML modeling tool.
