Synopsis
Aztecsoft helped the client meet its objectives by carrying out sustenance of it order management system. The sustenance activity was carried out from the offshore center with Aztecsoft leveraging on its knowledge of the working on the solution in its previous engagement.
Aztecsoft was responsible for regular maintenance releases and production support. We also undertook the testing and production system management for the solution.
About The Client
The client is the largest supplier of electronic design technologies, methodology services, and design services. The client's solutions are used to accelerate and manage the design of semiconductors, computer systems, networking and telecommunications equipment, consumer electronics, and a variety of other electronic products.

Sustenance Engineering Details
- Regular maintenance releases
- Comprises of bug fixes and minor enhancements
- Issues that require more time for fixes will be taken up by maintenance team
- Maintenance releases are normally carried out once in 8-10 weeks and go through complete cycle (Design -> Dev -> Test -> Release)

- Comprises of hot fixes and patch releases
- Typically, every business critical issues get addressed by production support team
- Production support is an on-going activity comprising of a dedicated team
